In this project theology and religious studies are connected to management and organization studies. Western understanding of organizations has led researchers of management and organization to focus on external factors and disregard internal growth and development. The importance of internal factors is increasingly recognized as shown, for example, in the corporate interest in organizational culture, mission, vision, identity and ethics. These topics typically involve existential and normative aspects.

The project aims at broadening the hermeneutic horizon of managers and management researchers by integrating the existential and normative aspects in organization research and leadership development.
